Sivakarthikeyan's 'Madharasi' to hit theaters on September 5

Kollywood’s Amaran Sivakarthikeyan is all set to star in Madharasi, an action drama helmed by ace filmmaker A R Murugadoss. Their collaboration is one of the most anticipated projects that has generated huge excitement among fans.

Backed by N V Prasad, the movie is presented under his banner, Sri Lakshmi Movies. Amidst soaring anticipation, the makers have announced the film’s release date.

The makers took to social media and unveiled the release date, writing:

"The date is locked for the ultimate action 🎯 The Mad and Massy ride of #Madharasi is coming - from September 5th in theatres worldwide 🔥#Madharasi / #DilMadharasi IN CINEMAS WORLDWIDE SEPTEMBER 5th ❤‍🔥#MadharasiFromSep5".

Earlier, the glimpse of the title generated an uproar on social media for the film and the spectacle it promises to deliver. In the movie, Sivakarthikeyan will don an intense action avatar, leaving fans excited.

The cinematography is done by Sudeep Elamon, and Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to compose the music. Ravichander is a well-known name in the Indian music industry who works primarily in Tamil cinema, in addition to Telugu and Hindi films.

A R Murugadoss is a renowned director and is best known for directing action films mainly on social issues. He has delivered blockbuster films like Ghajini, Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, Kaththi and Sikandar, just to name a few.

Madharasi boasts a star-studded, power-packed cast including Rukmini Vasanth, Vidyut Jammwal, Biju Menon, Shabeer and Vikranth. Madharasi is all set to hit the screens on September 5, 2025.
