Tom Cruise teases fans with explosive trailer for 'Mission Impossible 8'

Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise on Monday released the highly anticipated eighth instalment of the "Mission Impossible" franchise titled Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.

The explosive trailer of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning — the biggest action film of the year, and a moment that marks the culmination of an era. Featuring Tom Cruise in his iconic role as Ethan Hunt, this chapter promises not only edge-of-the-seat thrills but also a deeply emotional journey that brings decades of legacy to a full circle.

Cruise, who has embodied Agent Ethan Hunt since 1996’s Mission Impossible, posted the action-packed trailer on his social media and wrote:

“Every choice, every mission, has all led to this. Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning. May 23, 2025.” (sic)

Directed by Christopher McQuarrie, the movie is presented by Paramount Pictures and Skydance, a Tom Cruise Production.

Almost two years after the seventh installment, 'Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning,' the series continues with six earlier films documenting Agent Ethan Hunt’s journey: 'Mission: Impossible' (1996), 'Mission: Impossible 2' (2000), 'Mission: Impossible III' (2006), 'Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol' (2011), 'Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation' (2015), and 'Mission: Impossible – Fallout' (2018).

The film is set to arrive in Indian theaters on 23rd May, in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
