An inexplicable quest

When the desire and longing to forge a bond so new,

Transcend all known thoughts, forcing one to pursue.

The state of the lovelorn is akin to that of a wayfarer,

Wandering with eyes peeled for a
significant stranger.

Someone who can be entrusted with the heart and the very soul,

Brio brimming within, an inordinately
positive feeling on the whole.

An emotion so strong, yet subtle to the
capricious mind,

Worth reminiscing about later, the inner voice opined.

Infusing euphoria to the insipid existence, harsh reality forgotten,

To realize this relation is for the ages
— a match made in heaven!
