<p>Amaravati: A delegation of YSRCP leaders met Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer on Thursday, accusing the TDP-led government of "authoritarian governance, undemocratic practices", and deliberately neglecting the security of its leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.</p>.<p>The delegation led by senior YSRCP leader B Satyanarayana, alleged that the government was indulging in vindictive actions, registering false cases, and failing to provide Z-plus category security to Reddy, which he is entitled to.</p>.Jagan's bulletproof vehicle seized after YSRCP supporter’s death.<p>“They brought to the Governor’s attention the government’s failure to ensure Jagan’s safety during his public tours, accusing the administration of orchestrating conspiracies to tarnish his reputation,” said a YSRCP press release.</p>.<p>The leaders referred to a fatal accident involving a YSRCP supporter while Reddy was en route to Rentapalla village in Palnadu district.</p>.<p>They told the Governor that police initially claimed the accident was caused by a private vehicle, but later shifted the blame to Reddy’s convoy and registered a case against him.</p>.<p>“This is an unprecedented abuse of power. The government is fabricating cases to intimidate YSRCP leaders and suppress public support for YS Jagan, a leader with immense public backing,” said Satyanarayana.</p>.<p>The delegation further alleged that the coalition government was using diversionary tactics to shift attention away from growing public discontent over unfulfilled promises made during its one-year tenure.</p>.<p>He appealed to the Governor to ensure the restoration of democratic norms and the safety of opposition leaders.</p>.<p>Meanwhile, the Andhra Pradesh High Court is hearing a quash petition against the FIR registered against Reddy and others over Singayya’s death.</p>.<p>The court is expected to resume hearing in the matter on Friday.</p>.<p>Meanwhile, there was no immediate reaction from the TDP.</p>
