TMC has warned party activists contesting upcoming West Bengal panchayat polls as independents after being denied tickets, saying they won't be taken back in the party again. Bengal Governor C V Ananda Bose visited pre poll violence-hit areas in Canning on saturday. TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee has said that the party isn't worried over central forces in state for panchayat polls as the people love the party. Meanwhile, a TMC leader was murdered in Bengal's Malda and his family has accused the Congress of the murder. Union State minister Nisith Pramanik alleged on Saturday that bombs and arrows were hurled at his car in Sahebganj. He also alleged that the TMC MLA has been sitting in the BDO office and BJP can't file nomination papers for panchayat polls. In Karnataka, BJP has taken umbrage to the anti-conversion law being repealed, with C T Ravi saying he's urged sadhus to take on the protection of Hindu society. Thanks for staying with us.
