<p align="justify">The Centre will introduce a Bill that criminalises instant triple talaq in the Lok Sabha on Friday.</p>.<p align="justify">The "List of Business" posted on the Lok Sabha website showed that The Muslim Women (Protection of Rights of Marriage) Bill will be introduced by Law Minister Ravishankar Prasad.</p>.<p align="justify">The Bill is aimed at "protecting the rights of married Muslim women and to prohibit divorce by pronouncing talaq by their husbands and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto".</p>.<p align="justify">The Cabinet had cleared the Bill last week.</p>.<p align="justify">Earlier in the day, AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi described the proposed Bill as "draconian".</p>.<p align="justify">He said it would lead to further exploitation and more injustice to married Muslim women and that it is being done by the government only for "political considerations".</p>
