Countries need to focus on a 'Triple A linkage of Affordability, Accessibility and Availability' of medicines: S Jaishankar

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on February 24 said that countries need to focus on “Triple A linkage” of "Affordability, Accessibility and Availability" of medicines.

S Jaishankar said, “When it comes to health, someone defined it in AAA principle- Affordability, Accessibility and Availability of medicines.”

He explained the powerful impact of the AAA scheme of medicines. He shared some experiences and discussed how this can be applied globally. “We are here to highlight that for every country health cost is very central to the quality of governance. For developing countries, it is central to their progress and their prosperity,” he added.
