But none of his former colleagues knew as to what he was doing after quitting the job. <br /><br />The police ruled out any foul play and said the couple could have committed suicide on October 3 as the note was signed on that day. They had to break open the doors on the intervening night of October 6 and 7 as the neighbours complained of bad smell coming from the apartment. </p>.<p>“We found two nooses and the bodies hanging from the ceiling. The door was locked from inside. We do not suspect any foul play”, the official added. The official said that the post mortem has confirmed that the death was by hanging.<br /><br />As the aged parents of Anand expressed their inability to travel to Panaji and claim the bodies, the police would perform the cremation. The couple had set apart Rs 10,000 for performing their last rites. <br /><br />Recalling the sequence of events, the official said after finding the suic ide note, the police got in touch the parents of Deepa in Bangalore.
