The second wave of pandemic continues to grip India. India reported 1,61,736 new cases on April 13. There are currently 12,64,698 active cases in the country. India's total caseload mounted to 1,36,89,453. With 879 deaths reported in last 24 hours, death toll stood at 1,71,058. So far, 1,22,53,697 people have recovered from the deadly virus. Vaccination drive is underway in the country, and 10,85,33,085vaccine doses have been administered so far.
