<p>Social media influencer Apoorva Mukhija, who was in the headlines after the controversial episode of <em>India's Got Latent </em>has now spoken about the backlash she has been facing since then.</p><p>Apoorva aka 'The Rebel Kid' said, in her latest video titled <em>Till I say it is</em>, that she received hate and critisism from people after the show.</p><p>In her video, she also mentioned receiving acid attack, rape and death threats through DMs.</p><p>Sharing a screenshot of one of the DMs she stated they were "very graphic". Taking to Instagram, she shared multiple screenshots of all the messages she received all this while and wrote "and that’s not even 1%" in the caption.</p>.<p>There were concerns regarding her safety and security as someone found out her address and she received messages of threats. </p><p>Talking about the controversy, Apoorva apologised for her remarks and assured that she will be careful from now on.</p><p>She clarified that on the show "the guy made an extremely inappropriate comment in front of live audience" which was shocking to her. </p><p>Her response to it "did not come from a place trying to be funny or savage," she said it was "genuine anger".</p><p>Further she said that her intention is to make content that will entertain people and that she would never want to hurt anyone. </p><p>"I should have been mindful, and I have learnt my lesson," she added.</p><p>Apoorva said she was going through a hard time as the controversy did not affect just her, but her family too. </p>.Comedian Apoorva Mukhija deletes all posts from Instagram.<p>She mentioned that some people through her account found her mother's account and posted inappropriate comments under the posts, which became stressful for them. This affected her mother's health too, she added. </p><p>"I lost my house, a lot of brand deals, and I lost my self-respect," she said adding that there were people who were still there for her and supported her.</p><p>Apoorva also talked about her past problems and mentioned about "self harm" and comments from relatives that affected her. </p><p>"I have cried a lot of sleepless nights in that house, I have self-harmed, and I still have the scars, and back then, every day I used to think that it's over," she said.</p><p>"I know this is what I have signed up for I am a public figure. This is what happens to Bollywood people. I was not used to it…I was not ok with it," she added.</p><p>While concluding the video she said that whatever earnings she made through this video will be donated to an NGO that helps acid attack victims, rape victims and victims of domestic violence. </p><p>Apoorva's video comes days after she deleted all her posts from Instagram. She had also stopped following anyone on Instagram but still has over three million followers.</p>
