Gorakhnath Temple Attack: Accused is 'mentally unstable', claims his father

MA Abbasi, father of the accused for the Goraknath Temple attack, on April 4 in Gorakhpur, said that his son is not mentally stable and is suffering from depression. He also said that his son had no planning and his actions were due to his current mental state. “He isn't mentally stable. Since childhood, he's suffering from depression. He also received medical treatment. Due to some developments, he believed that the police was after him. He had no planning and did this due to current mental state,” the father said.
