Reacting to BJP president Amit Shah's comment on ousting Mamata Banerjee from power, the West Bengal Chief Minister on Wednesday said that the Election Commission seems to be run by the BJP.

Shah, during a rally on Tuesday, had said the TMC government in Bengal will fall after the Lok Sabha election results are out.

"They know when the election results will be declared and who will get how many seats. It seems BJP is running the Election Commission," said Banerjee. She was speaking at a government programme at Rampurhat in Birbhum district.

Without naming the BJP president, Banerjee dubbed him as a "fool and illiterate". She questioned how Shah knows that the election results will be declared at 1.30 p.m.

She declared that the BJP will score a blank in the Lok Sabha elections in Bengal. "You (BJP) will get zero out of 42 seats," said Banerjee.
