J&K Terror Attack Highlights | 'If you want to be enemies, we are ready for it': Farooq Abdullah hits out at Pakistan
PM Modi has asserted that India's armed forces have "complete operational freedom" to decide on the mode, targets and timing of response to the Pahalgam terror attack, as he chaired a meeting with the top defence officials earlier today. Modi also met with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat at 7,LKM, his official residence after the said meeting. Ceasefire violations by the Pakistan Army continued on Tuesday, as the Indian Army reported unprovoked small arms fire from the LoC. As tensions between India and Pakistan persist, Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Monday also claimed that a military incursion by New Delhi is imminent. With the Indian government cancelling visas given out to Pakistanis, medical visas are slated to expire today. Pakistanis from minority groups have, however put in a request to seek long-term visas to stay in India. That's all for today, we will be back tomorrow with more updates as we closely track the developments in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack. Goodnight!
