The deceased has been identified as Imtiyaz (28), of Pandeshwar in Mangalore.
The injured are Zenaba Rozi, Hajeera, 8-year-old kid, Venkatesh, Puspa, Harshitha, Ranjana, Yashas, Lakshmi and Umesh. Imtiyaz was married five months ago and was working in a software company in Bangalore. He had come to Mangalore on a holiday and was returning to Bangalore in car. The family of Venkatesh had come to Subrahmanya and were bound to Kateel via Uppinangady.
A case has been registered.
