<p>Bengaluru: A total of 2.49 lakh students have registered for the SSLC examination 2 as most of them did not clear all the subjects in the first examination. </p>.<p>According to data from the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB), out of the 2.76 lakh students, who failed to clear all subjects in the first examination, 2.27 lakh have already registered for the second examination.</p>.<p>Minister for School Education Madhu Bangarappa personally wrote to all deputy commissioners, urging them to take the initiative to motivate eligible students to register for the examination 2.</p>.<p>May 12 is the last date to register for the exam 2. </p>.Op Sindoor: COMEDK UGET postponed in select cities .<p>“Examinations 2 and 3 are opportunities provided to help students clear pending <br>subjects and also improve their scores,” the minister stated.</p>.<p>“Many students have failed just one or two subjects, which they can easily attempt now. Those with more than two subjects can make use of both exam 2 and exam 3.”</p>.<p>“Just three days ago, the number of students registered for Exam 2 was around 64,000. It has now crossed 2.49 lakh, which is truly surprising,” he said. </p>.<p>Among the districts, Kalaburagi recorded the highest number of registrations at 20,539, followed by Vijayapura (16,324), Bengaluru South (12,630), Raichur (12,607), and Bengaluru North (11,443).</p>.<p>SSLC Exam 2 is scheduled to be held from May 26 to June 2. The timetable has already been released by KSEAB.</p>
