<p>Disclosing this to reporters, Industries Minister Murugesh Nirani said Honda Motors has come forward to set up its scooters and motorcycles manufacturing unit at a cost of Rs 1,350 crore at Narsapur industrial area in Kolar. Mahindra & Mahindra group has proposed to set up an aerospace component and spare parts unit at a cost of Rs 284 crore at Narsapur. Musashi Auto Parts India Pvt Ltd wants to set up a unit to manufacture bearings, gear, and drive equipment at a cost of Rs 400 crore at Doddaballapur industrial area in Bangalore Rural district.<br /><br />Britannia Industries will set up a greenfield biscuits and bakery products manufacturing unit with global research and development centre at Doddaballapur Industrial area with an investment of Rs 100 crore.<br /><br />The HLCC gave its nod for setting up eight sugar factories in Bijapur, Mysore, Bagalkot and Belgaum district at a total cost of Rs 1,900 crore.
