<p>Belagavi: Six people have died by suicide due to online rummy, Home Minister <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/g-parameshwara">G Parameshwara</a> told the Assembly on Tuesday. </p>.<p>This includes five suicides in Bengaluru and one in Vijayanagar. Parameshwara was replying to a question by Yeshwantpur BJP MLA ST Somashekhar. </p>.Fund allocation for voluntary relocation of Karnataka's Bhimgad sanctuary villages soon .<p>Parameshwara pointed out that amendments to the Karnataka Police Act banning online gambling were struck down by the High Court in 2022. The government has challenged the High Court’s decision before the Supreme Court. </p>.<p>“The government, meanwhile, isn’t keeping quiet and we’re constantly trying to curb this,” he said.</p>
