60-year-old accused of raping minor

A 60-year-old man is accused of raping a six-year-old girl in the city recently.

The suspect, identified as Subhan Khan, committed the crime when the girl was sleeping outside her house, Additional Superintendent of Police T J Udesh said.

As soon the news spread, the local people thrashed him. The girl was subjected to medical examination and the suspect has been booked under Posco Act, the police officer said.
