Alekala Uroos from Feb 4 to 10

Alekala Uroos, held in commemoration of Hazrat Acchi Sahib Valiyullah, wife of Hazrat Asayyid Muhammed Shariful Madani, will be held at Alekala Juma Masjid in Ullal from February 4 to 10.

Addressing reporters in Mangaluru on Friday, Al Masjidul Jamiul Amin, Alekala president U S Hamza Hazi said that the place is famous for its ‘miraculous pond.’ Acchi Sahib Valiyullah was known for curing people through her miracles.

The Uroos conducted in her name is being held once in two years.

Scholar Sulthanul Kandapuram Aboobakar Musliar will address the gathering on February 8.

The valedictory programme on February 9 will be attended by Ullal Khazi Asayyid Fazal Koyamma Madani Koorath Tanjal.

A ‘Sandal’ procession will be held on the same day at 6 pm. ‘Mohiyuddin Ratib’ programme will be held on February 10 at 10 am, he said.

Juma Masjid, Alekala joint secretary Ashraf Sullia, members Syed Ziyat Tanjal, Shihabuddin Sakhafi Al Kamil and U D Ashraf were present in the press meet.
