<p>Tracing the genesis and history of the centuries-old Lalbagh Botanical Gardens, noted botanist Vijay R Thiruvady’s book ‘Lalbagh: From Sultan’s Garden to Public Park’ was released on Saturday by Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa at his home office 'Krishna'.</p>.<p>The book is said to be a comprehensive documentation of the Lalbagh Botanical Garden’s genesis and subsequent history, a release said. </p>.<p>It is published by Bangalore Environment Trust (BEST), which is headed by ecologist A N Yellappa Reddy.</p>
