<p>An online contest of cryptic clues ‘ACAD 2014’ (A Clue a day) for schoolchildren across the country, was launched in the City on Tuesday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The enrolment for the contest, that will go on throughout the year, is free. Students can log on to the website www.crypticsingh.com where a clue will be posted each day along with the solution.<br /><br />The clues will be posted at 3 pm each day and entries for the same will be accepted till 3 pm following day with results being posted in the champions gallery of the website.<br /><br />Evaluation<br /><br />Participants would be evaluated on a scale of 100 where points would be given in the descending order to ensure that the one solving the clue first would top the list.<br /><br />“Finals of the same would be an offline test, the venue of which is yet to be decided,” said Kushagra Singh, Director, EXTRA C, which is organising the contest.<br /><br />Speaking to Deccan Herald, he said the venue of the finals would be decided based on the toppers selected at the end of the year.<br /><br />Of the correct entries, one will be chosen as the Lucky Winner of the day and will win a gift hamper which will be sent to their schools.<br /><br />As many as 240 participants have already enrolled themselves for the contest.<br /><br /></p>
