Four men were found dead in the City since Tuesday evening in separate incidents.
A middle-aged man was found hanging from a pillar in a public park on BEL Road on Wednesday morning. He was identified as G Kumar, 45, a resident of Nagashetty Halli. The incident came to light when morning walkers noticed the body and alerted the police. Police sources say the deceased was working with a private company in the area and had left work at 10:30 pm on Tuesday. Police suspect that he might have stopped at the park and committed suicide. Sanjaynagar police have registered a case.
In another incident, a man was found hanging from a railway electricity pole between Kengeri and Hejjala railway stations. The incident came to light on Wednesday morning. The deceased was identified as Chandrashekar, 30, a resident of Kengeri. City Railway police have registered a case.
In the third incident, the body of a resident of Mandur, who had been missing for the last three days, was found floating in Mandur lake on Wednesday morning.
The deceased, Rakesh, was a tempo driver. His father had lodged a complaint with Avalahalli police that he had left for a trip three days ago and had not returned. As the investigation was underway, his body was found floating in the lake on Wednesday morning. Avalahalli police have registered a case.
In the fourth incident, a 30-year-old man was found dead on the road near Mylasandra junction with injuries on his body on Tuesday night.
Kengeri traffic police have suspected a hit-and-run accident.
