The civic body has undertaken the road widening work from Jedi Mara junction to Koli Farm for a stretch of about 7.50 km.
In order to continue this project, the Palike has acquired close to 18,000 square meters for the project.
The work involves widening the existing 12-metre road to 45 metres to ease the commuting on this stretch.
