I-Day: Special trains from Bengaluru to North Karnataka, Jog Falls & Bihar

Bengaluru: The railways will run special trains between Bengaluru and various cities to clear the extra rush of passengers for Independence Day. 

Train number 06551 will depart from SMVT Bengaluru at 7 pm on August 7, 9, 14 and 16, and reach Belagavi at 8.25 am the next day. 

Train number 06552 will depart from Belagavi at 5.30 pm on August 8, 10, 15 and 17, and reach SMVT Bengaluru at 5 am the next day. 

Train number 07375 will leave Hubballi at 11 am on August 14 and reach SMVT Bengaluru at 7.45 pm the same day. 

Train number 06589 will leave SMVT Bengaluru at 9 pm on August 14 and reach Vijayapura at 10.45 am the next day. 

Train number 06590 will leave Vijayapura at 5.30 pm on August 17 and reach SMVT Bengaluru at 8.10 am the next day. 

Jog Falls

Train number 06543 will depart from Yeshwantpur at 10.30 pm on August 14 and reach Talaguppa (the nearest railway station to Jog Falls) at 4.15 am the following day. 

Train number 06544 will depart from Talaguppa at 8.15 am on August 15 and reach Yeshwantpur at 4.50 pm the same day. 

Bihar route 

The special trains between Bengaluru and Danapur (Patna) have been extended with existing timings and stoppages. 

Train number 03251 Danapur–SMVT Bengaluru Biweekly Express Special will now run until August 25. 

Train number 03252 SMVT Bengaluru–Danapur Biweekly Express Special will now run until August 27. 

Both trains will make eight more trips in each direction. 

Train number 03259 Danapur–SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Express Special will run until August 26. 

Train number 03260 SMVT Bengaluru–Danapur Weekly Express Special will run until August 28. 

Both trains will make four more trips in each direction.
