Ice cream godown burgled

Miscreants ransacked an ice cream distribution office-cum-godown on Kenchappa Road in Pulakeshinagar on Thursday and made away with cash.

The police said the incident came to light when the owner G Kapoor came to the office on Friday morning and found the main door broken. He found Rs 7 lakh cash missing from his desk on being examined.

“The miscreants gained access through the main door and fully ransacked the office. It is suspected that someone known to the owner or those working in the office are involved in the crime,” they said. The Pulakeshinagar police have registered a case.
