Jurassic World becomes Kaala in Bengaluru's Urvashi theatre

Hundreds of people who booked tickets for Hollywood movie Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom in Urvashi theatre were surprised on Saturday evening when they had to watch Kaala instead.

There was not even a single poster of Kaala on theatre walls. Theatre walls were full of Jurassic World posters.

Manjunath, the manager of Urvashi theatre, said, “We had scheduled morning and matinee shows for Jurassic World and first and second show for Kaala. We had alerted the online booking platforms about the change. Since we were facing the server issue, the message did not reach booking platforms on time. This led to the confusion. We apologise audience for the inconvenience caused.”

When asked why there was no Kaala banner anywhere on theatre premises, he said, “The banners were not ready and this was a last-minute change.”
