'Lease revenue untapped'

Reddy, briefing the media, claimed that the BBMP is losing nearly Rs 600 crore by failing to realise the revenue amount to be recovered from as many as 345 leased properties. “Corruption is the main reason for the loss,” he claimed.

Reddy added that BBMP authorities were not concerning themselves with the 97 newly-added BBMP wards where a lot of government properties have been left untapped.
