<p>Sandalwood actress Vijayalakshmi and an upcoming actor Ravi Prakash have locked horns after he helped her with Rs 1 lakh for her medical treatment, soon after which he started stalking her.</p>.<p>Vijayalakshmi, on March 11, approached Tilak Nagar police and filed a complaint of stalking against Ravi Prakash. Meanwhile, he filed a cheating complaint against Vijaylakshmi after she distanced herself from him.</p>.<p>The Karnataka Film Chambers of Commerce secretary had arranged for a mediation between the two to solve the differences, which did not work out as Vijayalakshmi failed to turn up.</p>.<p>Vijayalakshmi has acted in 'Jodi Hakki' with Shivarajkumar, 'Suryavamsha' with Vishnuvardhan, and 'Nagamandala' with Prakash Raj — worth mentioning.</p>.<p>Still being treated in a private hospital, Vijayalakshmi told DH that several actors and producers from the industry, including Sudeep, helped her after she appealed for financial aid on social media recently.</p>.<p>“Sudeep sir gave us Rs 1 lakh. He wished me a speedy recovery and left. There were many others who have lent their support with whatever they could. But this man (Ravi Prakash) whom I do not know at all, came and gave Rs 1 lakh after which he is constantly inquiring about my health and messaging me and my sister,” Vijayalakshmi told DH.</p>.<p>“He also bought clothes, food, and a quilt for my sister and mother to sleep at the hospital without us asking for it. His over-helping behaviour along with his constant texting and calling inquiring were turning into a nuisance especially while I was ill at the hospital, ” she added.</p>.<p>Vijayalakshmi initially was under treatment at the Mallya Hospital after which she got herself shifted to Jayadeva Hospital and later to another private hospital.</p>.<p>Vijayalakshmi’s sister Usha Devi used to attend Ravi Prakash’s calls when he inquired her about Vijayalakshmi's health.<br />Once, Usha Devi chided Ravi Prakash on phone and said he need not inquire about anyone’s health in their family.</p>.<p>Annoyed with this, the actress even got discharged from Jayadeva Hospital without Ravi Prakash's knowledge which irked him.</p>.<p>Then when Ravi Prakash called up Vijayalakshmi, Usha Devi answered the call and told him to not pursue them and even threatened him to file a police complaint.</p>.<p>Ravi Prakash assumed that Vijayalakshmi was distancing herself as she was not keen on returning his money and got involved in a heated argument with her sister.</p>.<p>Vijayalakshmi then filed a complaint with the Tilaknagar police.</p>.<p>“I helped her on a humanitarian basis. But she misunderstood it as if I was taking advantage of her. I attempted for mediation at the KFCC. But she (Vijayalakshmi) did not turn up there. I have filed a complaint of cheating against her and her sister with the Channamanekere Acchukattu police,” Raviprakash told DH.</p>
