<p>Bengaluru: A mother and daughter died on the spot after a car driven by a man in his 70s rammed into them near Byatarayanapura Junction in northern Bengaluru on Friday afternoon.</p>.<p>The police said the driver, who has a heart condition and a pacemaker, was in shock following the accident.</p>.<p>The victims have been identified as Nagamma (around 40 years old) and her 16-year-old daughter, Prabhadevi.</p>.<p>The incident occurred at 12.15 pm when the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle, veered off the road, and crashed into the pavement, fatally hitting the two pedestrians.</p>.Traffic restrictions in place for police run in Bengaluru on Sunday .<p>"We have detained the driver and conducted medical tests. The results are awaited,” said an officer from the Hebbal traffic police station, where a case has been registered.</p>.<p>Nagamma and Prabhadevi were natives of Challakere, Chitradurga, but had been living in Byatarayanapura.</p>
