Pothole-free Bengaluru? Karnataka govt allocates Rs 1,100 cr for road repairing in city

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar said that Bengaluru is all set to get Rs 1,100 crore for repair and construction of roads. The fund would be used to make the city pothole-free, he said.

In a post on X, Shivakumar wrote, "Bengaluru is set for a major push in road development with ₹1,100 crore allocated for repair and construction. We are committed to ensuring every constituency benefits from these funds and to building smooth, pothole-free roads across the city."

On Sunday, he also asked BJP MPs of the state to put pressure on the Centre and bring funds for the implementation of irrigation projects.
