<p>Around 500 residents and shopkeepers of Cox Town gathered at the Komala Hotel Junction to participate in the protest organised by the Bharathinagar Residents Welfare Association.<br />The residents were agitating over government’s decision to open the flyover keeping in view the BBMP elections but was least bothered about providing a service road, proper drainage system, garden, street light and parking place beneath the flyover. <br /><br />Bharathinagar MLA S Raghu came to the spot and requested them to end protest. He assured them that service roads would be ready within in a month.</p>
