Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) registered a total of 338 cases against school bus drivers on Wednesday, in a special drive against traffic violations.
They checked a total of 2,059 vehicles and booked seven drivers for driving under the influence of alcohol.
The 338 cases were registered against drivers who ferried more schoolchildren than permitted, as per the transport department's rules.
