Traffic diversions in Bengaluru for Begur temple festival

Bengaluru: Owing to the Sri Nagalingeshwara Temple Brahmarathostava at the Begur Nagalingeshwara Temple on Wednesday, the Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) has issued an advisory to regulate vehicular movement.

The Brahmarathotsava, expected to be attended by 15,000 to 25,000 devotees, will begin at 11.55 am and the procession will take place at night.

Accordingly, traffic movement has been restricted on Begur Road, from PK Kalyana Mantapa Junction to Ekana Hospitals Junction; from Falcon Market Junction on Manipal County Road to the temple; and from DLF Junction to Begur Lake Junction.

Alternatively, vehicles coming from Bommanahalli-Hongasandra towards Begur Koppa Road can take a right at PK Kalyana Mantapa Junction, proceed via Devarachikkanahalli Road, take a left and proceed via DEO Heights to DLF Junction and then further to Begur Koppa Road.

Those coming from Hosur Main Road and Manipal County Road can take a left near Falcon Market and go via AECS C-Block to get to Begur Koppa Road and Bannerghatta Main Road. Those coming towards Begur Circle via DLF can take a left at the junction, go via Nyanappana Halli Road and reach Hongasandra and Bommanahalli via Devarachikkanahalli Road.
