The New Horizon College of Engineering has said the viral video on Covid-19 cases on its campus is fake.
In a media statement, the college principal said only two hostel students tested positive for Covid-19 and they have been shifted from the hostel. Their primary contacts have been traced and isolated and the RT-PCR test on their samples has returned a negative result.
The college management has taken all necessary safety measures, including daily sanitisation of all classrooms and the hostel, the principal stated in the release.
