<p>Bengaluru: The Department of Mental Health Education, Nimhans, is organising 'Stories Against Stigma: Walking Tour of NIMHANS' on October 28. The three-hour walking tour, from 9.30 am onwards, will be held in two batches and is open to the public. </p>.<p>It is a unique educational effort to destigmatise misconceptions, reduce stigma, and increase public awareness about mental illnesses, related services and those who have experienced mental illnesses.</p>.Nimhans, non-profit organisation to launch support group for dementia caregivers.<p>The tour will provide experiential, accurate, and reliable information directly from mental healthcare professionals. It will also provide a historical perspective on the institute's evolution and the field of psychiatry and neurosciences. </p>.<p>The tour was previously conducted in September 2019, but came to a halt due to the pandemic.</p>.<p>Registration fee is Rs 200.
