<p>Bengaluru: A woman allegedly assaulted a BMTC bus driver following an accident near Sumanahalli Bridge in Bengaluru on Saturday around 2:20 pm.</p>.<p>The bus, operated by driver Ambarish and conductor Yogesh, was running on route 248/3 from Jalahalli Cross to K R Market when it rear-ended a scooter. The scooter, ridden by Savitha, a resident of Kamakshipalya, also had two children as pillion passengers. The electric vehicle is retained at the police station for investigation. Ambarish received medical attention at a local hospital.
