<p>Bengaluru: The Sadashivanagar police have registered an FIR after a woman complained that gold and diamond valuables from her bank locker went missing.</p>.<p>Based on the complaint, the FIR registered on May 30 named Bharateesh, Branch Manager of SBI, Dollars Colony, Filjit John, the Deputy Manager, and other employees.</p>.<p>According to the complainant, a 54-year-old homemaker, she has had a savings account at the branch since December 2022. She told the police that she availed of the locker facility on June 17, 2023, and stored 145 grams of gold and diamond valuables worth an estimated Rs 12,00,000 in it. When she checked on November 21, 2024, the valuables were intact, the FIR noted.</p>.<p>However, the woman alleged that when she opened the locker on March 29, 2025, all the valuables were missing. As per the FIR, when she asked the manager and the deputy manager about the missing items, they feigned ignorance and asked her to file a complaint.</p>.<p>Based on the allegations, the police have invoked Section 305A (theft in a dwelling house, or means of transportation or place of worship, etc.) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Further investigation is underway, the police said.</p>
