<p>The body of a farmer who was feared drowned at Nemmar was found near a hanging bridge on Saturday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">It is suspected that he must have slipped and fallen into the river on Thursday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The NDRF personnel had searched for the body on Friday and continued the search operation on Saturday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The body was handed over to the family after conducting the post-mortem.</p>.<p class="bodytext">MLA T D Raje Gowda visited the family members and promised compensation of Rs 5 lakh to the family.</p>
