<p>Homa, Havana, and other religious rituals, organised by the family of Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy at Umamaheshwara Temple on the banks of River Tunga at Kammaradi, concluded on Saturday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Kumaraswamy’s father and former prime minister H D Deve Gowda, his wife Chennamma, Public Works Minister H D Revanna, MLC S L Bhoje Gowda and Sringeri MLA T D Raje Gowda were present. </p>.<p class="bodytext">The religious rituals continued till late on Friday night. The chief minister’s family stayed at Talavane.</p>.<p class="bodytext">On Saturday, the rituals were held till 2 pm under the guidance of priest Ganesh Somayaji. The family left for Bengaluru at 3 pm after the rituals. </p>.<p class="bodytext">In the last two days, Ganapathi Homa, Rudra Homa and other Homas were held. It is said that religious rituals were organised for the health of Deve Gowda, a source said. </p>.<p class="bodytext">The police had strengthened security in and around the temple.</p>
