CM to visit Ajmer Dargah today

Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy will be leaving for Ajmer in Rajasthan on Thursday morning.

According to the chief minister’s office, Kumaraswamy, accompanied by his family, will be visiting the Ajmer Dargah to offer prayers. The chief minister, who is slated to fly to Ajmer at 6 am, is scheduled to return to Bengaluru the same evening.

While it is being said that Kumaraswamy was visiting the Ajmer Dargah to mark the Bakrid festival, it is rumoured that the JD(S) leader is visiting the shrine in observance of his vow during the Assembly elections.He will also visit Brahma temple in Pushkar. Kumaraswamy, who will incidentally be completing three months in office on August 23, has already set a record by visiting nearly 45 places of worship, including temples, a few dargahs and mutts.
