Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara on Wednesday expressed confidence that the JD(S)-Congress coalition government will complete full five years' term.

The government will be successfully completing 100 days in power on August 30. Opposition party BJP had predicted that the coalition government will not survive even for one month, he told reporters.

However, he said the government has no plan to celebrate the occasion. Parameshwara also listed out achievements of the government in the past 100 days.

He said Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and himself will be meeting Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday in Delhi to seek the Centre’s financial assistance for the flood relief works. The chief minister will submit a memorandum in this regard, he added.
