<p>Bengaluru: The Congress is aiming to mobilise one lakh people to attend Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi’s protest against “vote theft” on August 8. </p>.<p>Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, his deputy D K Shivakumar, Congress general secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala and other top party leaders held a meeting to prepare for the rally. </p>.<p>“More than one lakh people are expected,” Government Chief Whip and MLC Saleem Ahmed told DH.</p>.<p>“The protest is against the BJP, which has turned the Election Commission into its own commission.”</p>
