<p>Hosapete (Vijayanagara): A group of foreign investors visited Hampi on Saturday as part of a tour to visit and familiarise themselves with the state’s heritage sites.</p><p>The second edition of the Karnataka International Travel Expo (KITE) Fam Tour-2025 kicked off a tourist destination viewing programme in Bengaluru on Friday. Accordingly, the group of foreigners arrived in Hampi on Saturday and they were amazed by the beauty of Hampi.</p><p>The group visited the famous places of Hampi such as the Vijaya Vitthal Temple, the Kallini Ratha, the Sangeet Mantapa, the Kamala Mahal, the Gaja Shale, and the Rani Snan Griha. The foreign investors, who were impressed by the rich art and culture of Hampi, were delighted to see the monuments here. They stood in front of the Kallini Ratha and celebrated by holding a Rs 50 note and displaying its image.</p><p>Investors from Australia, Russia, USA, Malaysia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Belgium, Italy, Latvia, Argentina will visit Hampi as well as Vijayapura, Badami, Pattadakallu, Aihole, Lakkundi, Mysuru, wildlife sanctuaries, hill stations, and coastal areas.</p><p>Speaking to DH, Tourism Department Deputy Director Prabhulinga S Talakeri said, “There are 19 foreign investors and two Indian investors in the team. They will visit other places in the state and come to Hampi again on the February 25,” he said.</p><p>The tour guides introduced the history of Hampi to the dignitaries. Sharath and Manjunath cooperated on behalf of the department.</p>
