Govt clears Ambi's B'lore hospital bill, too

The State government has cleared one more set of medical bill of Housing Minister M H Ambareesh.

 The government has reimbursed Rs 5,92,592 which the minister had spent towards medical treatment he took while he was in a private hospital in Bangalore in February this year. 

According to a government notification issued on July 17 by the department of personnel & administration (protocol), the minister’s office had sent bills worth Rs 7,59,454 for clearance. The bills were pertaining to Ambareesh’s stay at Vikram Hospital, Bangalore from Feb 21 to Feb 28. 

However, the government has cleared bills worth about Rs 5.93 lakh. The government had earlier reimbursed Rs 1.16 crore towards the minister’s treatment at a Singapore hospital.
