<p>Bengaluru: Congress’ SC/ST leaders, including ministers K H Muniyappa and R B Thimmapur, requested Dalit organisations on Monday to have patience and not target the government over the delay in implementing internal reservation.</p>.<p>“No one in the Cabinet is opposing this. We are committed to internal reservation. We want to do it in a way that doesn’t attract legal scrutiny. You have waited 30 years. It’s a matter of a few more months,” Muniyappa said.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Thimmapur said the government is working to provide empirical data to the Justice H N Nagamohan Das Commission.</p>
