Irregularities in allotment of Ashraya houses alleged

 The protesters alleged that the legislator G K Venkatashivareddy has prepared the list without holding gram panchayat meeting. They alleged that legislator had prepared the list by exerting force on the GP secretaries through his party workers. The guidelines for the selection has been violated, and injustice has been meted on the real beneficiaries, they alleged.

They demanded to withhold the list and take stringent measures to prepare anew list in accordance to the guidelines of the project should be prepared at the gram panchayat meetings.

Presidents and members of all the five gram panchayat under the  Sugatur hobli limits, including Jannaghatta, Madanahalli were present.
