<p class="title">Leader of the Opposition in Legislative Assembly and the BJP candidate for the Dharwad Central Assembly Jagadish Shettar, filed his nomination papers on Monday. </p>.<p class="bodytext">He was taken in a procession in an open vehicle, by thousands of party workers and supporters, to the electoral officer where he filed his nomination. </p>.<p class="bodytext">His wife Shilpa Shettar, MP Prahalad Joshi, BJP district president Nagesh Kalaburgi, Mahanagara Palike Deputy Mayor Maneka Hurali and others were with him. </p>.<p class="bodytext">Before the filing the nomination, Shettar offered special pooja to the Anjaneya Swamy temple in Dharwad. </p>
