<p>Bengaluru: Nearly a month after the statewide survey of Scheduled Castes (SCs) concluded, the Justice Nagamohan Das Commission will submit its report on internal reservation to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Monday.</p>.<p>The Das Commission will recommend its formula to share the 17% reservation for SCs amongst the SC (Right), SC (Left), “touchable” and nomadic communities.</p>.<p>While the BJP has been aggressively campaigning for the speedy implementation of internal reservation, leaders within the Congress, especially those from the Madiga/ SC (left) community, have nudged the government to implement it. On Saturday, Home Minister G Parameshwara, an SC (Right) leader, convened a meeting of SC ministers and MLAs in the Congress to iron out internal differences on the issue. Internal reservation has been a decades-long demand of the Madiga community, who have claimed that they been historically deprived of reservation benefits.</p>.<p>If implemented, Karnataka will become the fourth state in the country after Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Haryana to implement internal reservation.</p>
