<p>The Kalaburagi bench of <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/karnataka-high-court">Karnataka High Court</a>, on Tuesday, granted conditional permission to 15 devotees of the Hindu community excluding Andola Siddalinga Swamiji, to perform pooja at the Raghava Chaitanya Shivalinga located on the premises of Laadle Mashak Dargah in Aland town on Wednesday on Maha Shivaratri.</p><p>Siddaramaiah Hiremath had filed a writ petition seeking permission for him and his team to perform pooja at the Raghava Chaitanya Shivalinga on the day of Shivaratri. The bench headed by Justice K Natarajan, which heard the petition, said that the petitioners can perform pooja from 2 pm to 6 pm. </p><p>However, Siddaramaiah informed that he has been directed not to make any attempt to set up any structure at the venue. Andola Siddalinga Swamiji was part of the team that had been performing pooja every year. This time, the Muslim community leaders, who approached the Wakf Tribunal, requested that the Laadle Mashak Dargah be restricted from being visited by unwanted persons as it is a Waqf property. The court, which accepted this plea, has restricted the entry of the Swamiji. Meanwhile, the seer has filed an appeal in the High Court challenging this and the case will come up for hearing on March 3.</p><p><strong>Prohibitory orders</strong></p><p>The High Court has directed the district administration to obtain the details of all 15 people. The deputy commissioner has issued a prohibitory order in Aland town on Shivaratri as a precautionary measure to prevent any untoward incident. A police parade was held in Aland town on Monday.</p><p>As many as 1,150 police personnel have already been deployed in the town under the leadership of Kalaburagi Superintendent of Police Addur Srinivasalu to maintain law and order. Tight security has been provided at important public places including bus stands, Sriram Market, Dargah Chowk, check posts and other places in the town.</p><p>Meanwhile, Circle Police Inspector Prakash Yatanur said that the town municipal council members Firdoshi Ansari, Sameer Ansari and Sriram Sene leader Mahesh Gowli have been banished from Aland. A wire fence and necessary security, drone camera surveillance and CCTV</p><p>camera system have already been installed around the dargah.</p><p>Police officials have been conducting patrolling in the town in the wake of the imposition of prohibitory orders under Section 144.</p>
