<p>Mysuru: With more than 86,000 cusec of water being released from KRS dam into Cauvery river, there is a flood like situation in Srirangapatna taluk, and several roads connecting the river have been closed to the public. </p><p>Temporary gates have been erected at the roads bound for bathing ghat in Srirangapatna town and locked to prevent people from going near the river. </p><p>Barricades have been erected on the routes to Shambulingaiahana Katte, Dodda Gosai Ghat, Chikka Gosai Ghat, Cauvery Sangama and Paschima Vahini. Boating will be suspended until the flood-like situation eases, according to Forest department officials.</p><p>The water level of the KRS dam was 123.80 ft as against the maximum level of 124.80 ft. The inflow to the dam is 52,856 cusec and outflow is 56,474 cusec. With inflow increasing, there is a possibility of increasing the outflow, according to Cauvery Neeravari Nigam officials.</p>
